SYNOPSIS
In a New York supermarket a girl is observed by someone.
She feels awkward, but what she doesn't know is that she is close to live one fascinating story.

DIRECTOR STATEMENT
I loved the story of Paper or Plastic from the beginning. I was completely sure it could be a great short film. Then I met Anitra and she loved it too, and so she decided to produce it. I was sure that with her participation we could get something very professional, and so we did. Paper or Plastic was shot in Super 16mm and then we made a Digital Intermedia in 2K to have all control in the Color Grade.Then we made a mix in Dolby and recorded the soundtrack with real musicians in Boston. We had a great crew: Jose Martin as a DP, Pedro Avila as a cameraman, Lucas Vidal as a composer, Marta Salas as an editor. We took care of every step of the process, and that is the point of the quality of this film.
Fulgorafilms has now contracted Martín to produce his first feature film in the United States. Production will start in 2010, in New York City, and has a preliminary budget of $6 million.
