ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Paper Or Plastic marks Charvick Productions first Project of many in the works. After Executive Producer Anitra Thomas spent many months searching and reading thousands of scripts, She come upon "Paper Or Plastic". Originally the script was title "Adios Mama" or "Goodbye Mom". It was also written in Spanish by spanish writer/director Martin Rosete, whose work has earn him over 64 International awards for the Short Films "Revolution and Al Falta De Pan". After Ms. Thomas met with Mr. Rosete in October of 2007 the script was then completed and translated into English. The Short was then filmed in January of 2008. Paper or Plastic music score was written and compose by Lucas Vidal. The music was scored with a live band in Boston, MA.

CASTING
Casting Paper Or Plastic began In November of 2007. Executive Producer Anitra Thomas spend several days putting out the casting notices.. "I was happy to see the amount of people interested in Auditing for the roles. within hours of putting out the casting notice I started to receive many Emails with submissions by manager, agents and of course by our local talent themselves''. It was extremely important to cast the right person for the role of Mary, as the role called for an older lady with the "motherly look'' but who could also pull off the devious act at the end. The role of the Cashier was a much easier role to cast, as it was casted in one day, but it is important one as it called for a look with a very "New York City attitude". Auditioning our local talents here in New York City took three days but both Executive Producer Anitra Thomas and Writer/Director Martin Rosete were very happy with the final selection of the cast.
